Today’s review of the CIFF 2011 Spring-Summer Color Trends Report is actually our third and final color trend review on the 2011 spring-summer fashion season. The thing that makes this palette different than the other 2011 spring summer reports that we’ve already reviewed is that although in the previous 2011 spring summer reports the designers (Lenzing and Le Cuir A Paris) are only predicting the colors for two seasons both reports used four season color palettes. However, this report takes a departure from that trend by primarily using traditional spring and summer colors. Continue reading

Today’s color trend report comes from Le Cuir A Paris. This is our second color trend review for the spring – summer 2011 season. Just in case you’re not familiar with Le Cuir A Paris they’re a France based leather and fur trade fair that caters solely to textiles and fashion professionals. Additionally, it’s probably also worth noting that Le Cuir A Paris is part of the Premiere Vision exhibition that we referenced in our fall winter 2010 color trend review.

For example, a comparison of Le Cuir A Paris’s Underwater Variation palette and Lenzing’s Abstractions palette reveals a striking level of resemblance between the types of colors found in the two palettes.
