Little Girls DIY Summer Style Must-Haves

Today it’s all about your little girl! It’s not too late to look good at the pool or the beach this summer. We have found a couple of websites that show you how to make your own swimsuit cover-ups for your little girl! You could make one to match every swimsuit she owns!

Here is a cover up that you could make for a boy or girl of any age, using old bath towels! The materials you will need for your new Hooded Towel Cover-Up are :

1- hand towel
1- large bath towel
1- strip of fabric ( 4″ X 25″)
ric- rac trim ( 2 pieces – 25″ long)
thread
scissors
iron

We also found one that would great for your little girl! Its the perfect dress cover up. The materials you need are:

  • 2 different towel fabrics from your local fabric store OR you can use an old beach towel
  • large piece of Velcro

This step-by-step tutorial tells you how to make this cute little dress cover-up!

 

Love the maxi dresses that you are seeing everywhere, but they just cost too much? Well we have a solution for you! You can make one yourself by using an old T-shirt or using a new one that you can get from Rock Bottom T-Shirts  and some fun colorful fabric from your local fabric store. This is a super cute dress for the first week of school!
